Doug and Loretta Patterson - 2006 Rimington Trophy Honorary Chairpersons

The Rimington Trophy and the Boomer Esiason Foundation are proud to recognize Doug and Loretta Patterson as Honorary Chairpersons for the 2006 Rimington Trophy Presentation. As Executive Vice President at Peter Kiewit Sons', Inc., Doug has overseen countless projects at one of the largest constrcution and mining organizations in North America in his 30 years with the company.

The Pattersons have called Omaha home for the past eight years and are integrally involved with the Nebraska Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in addition to many other philanthropic efforts around the community. Loretta is on the board of directors for several charitable groups in Omaha and has worked extensively on the Rimington Trophy Presentation committee for the past three years.

"The Rimington Trophy is a wonderful event and most of all, to me, it is an outstanding headline for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, " she said. "It is so easy and rewarding to see the great leaps that have been made. The cure is close-closer than ever- and because of the research our funding helps provide, the lives of people with cystic fibrosis are getting better and longer each year."

The Pattersons have two children; Roy, 22 and Sarah, 20. In addition to their generous community involvement, they also enjoy many other interests such as traveling, golf and equestrian.

We are proud to have the Patterson's as out Honorary Chairpersons and are extremely grateful for their help and support of the Rimington Trophy, the Boomer Esiason Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
